The patented and award-winning Spazio model is a true feat of engineering, offering a comfortable user experience and long-lasting durability at a reasonable price. This awning stands out thanks to its availability in both motorized and manual versions, the option for a vertical roll-up, and an innovative lighting solution. The awning does not include a cassette, allowing it to be integrated directly into the wall.
A major advantage of the Spazio model is the vertical roll-up option
The vertical roll-up effectively protects against low-angled sunlight. Spazio is the only model that allows an LED strip to be added to the frame of the moving part.
LED strips can be added to the support frames of all awning types, directed upwards. This additional lighting is practical, space-saving, and creates a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. For the Spazio model, the LED strip can also be installed on the front panel and will automatically turn on when the awning opens. Available in cool and warm white light (4000K or 3000K).
To ensure even better protection from sun, rain, and wind, certain models (TXT, Spazio) offer the option to add a vertical roll-up fabric panel to the front edge of the awning. This additional feature operates electrically, but a manually operated version is also available upon request. When retracted, the roll-up disappears completely into the upper frame.
All the fabrics used in our awnings are low-maintenance and easy to clean. In addition to classic PVC fabrics, we have recently added several technical fabrics made from fiberglass and materials certified for health safety. There are also options made from recycled fabrics. You can explore fabric samples and an almost endless selection of colors at the Liv Outdoor showroom.
How to choose the right fabric?
We recommend making your fabric choice wisely and thoughtfully. Consider the primary purpose of your awning. For example:
Temperature control: Is it important to keep the space beneath the awning as cool as possible to reduce cooling costs inside your building?
Weather protection: Some fabrics offer better protection from rain and wind than others.
Visual comfort: Thinner and lighter fabrics allow better visibility from the inside out, especially useful for vertical roll-down panels.
Optimal microclimate: Breathable fabrics improve airflow and ventilation under the awning.
Key aspects to consider when choosing a fabric:
Fire resistance
All of our fabrics are fire-resistant as required for products used in outdoor settings. If you’re buying for a restaurant or hotel, consider a fabric with enhanced fire resistance to ensure additional safety in higher-risk environments.
Solar transmittance
This determines how much heat passes through the fabric. A good awning fabric will block more than 70% of solar heat; most of our fabrics provide protection against 80–90% of heat.
Visual transparency
This is the amount of natural light that passes under the awning. Depending on the fabric’s density and chosen color, you can adjust daylight brightness and reduce glare indoors.
Health and environmental considerations
All our fabrics comply with the European REACH regulation and therefore do not contain harmful substances.
